BPSC Teacher Eligibility Pattern 2024
Eligibility criteria for the various posts of Teacher in government schools of Bihar in terms of educational qualification and age limit is available below, scroll down to know it.
Educational Qualification:
- Primary Teacher: The candidate should have completed Intermediate, DElEd (Diploma in Elementary Education), and should have cleared CTET Paper I.
- Upper Primary Teacher: A candidate must possess an Undergraduate degree, DElEd/BEd, and should have cleared Paper II.
- Secondary Teacher: The candidate should have an Undergraduate degree, BEd, and should have cleared STET Paper I.
- Senior Secondary Teacher: For this post, a candidate should hold a Postgraduate degree, BEd, and should have cleared STET Paper II.
Age Limit:
- Primary & Upper Primary Teacher: The age range for eligibility is 18 to 37 years.
- Secondary & Senior Secondary Teacher: Candidates should be between 21 to 40 years old to meet the age criteria.
Note: There is an upper age relaxation of 3 years for Other Backward Class (OBC) candidates and 5 years for Scheduled Tribes/Caste (ST/SC) candidates for each Teacher post.
BPSC Teacher Registration Fee 2024
To apply for teaching positions in government schools in Bihar, individuals must make the necessary payment using a debit card, credit card, NET banking, or UPI. Obtain information about the fee.
