UGC NET Examination Date 2024

The National Testing Agency has officially announced the exam date for the June 2024 UGC NET. The exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test mode and will have a duration of 03 hours. It is scheduled to take place from 10th to 21st June 2024 in two shifts: from 09:00 am to 12:00 noon and from 03:00 pm to 06:00 pm.     • Junior Research Fellowship (JRF):The upper age limit is 30 years as of the first day of the examination month.
    • There is a relaxation of 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWD/Third Gender categories.
    • Assistant Professor:No lower or upper age limit.

Educational Qualification:

  • A candidate must have a Master’s degree or its equivalent from a recognized university with at least 55% marks in their qualifying examination, while SC/ST/PWD/OBC-NCL/Third Gender candidates need only. 50% marks.
  • Candidates who are appearing in the final year of their Postgraduate examination are also eligible to apply for UGC NET June 2024.
